Welcome to the Iota Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated. Our legacy is built on the pillars of education, empowerment, and excellence; and we continue to forge paths of opportunity and growth. As the Incomparable Iota Sigma Chapter embarks on celebrating 90+ years of extraordinary service to the Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, Hanover, Goochland and surrounding communities we do so with aspiration to make an even "Greater" impact to the people we assist. Iota Sigma is proud to lead and partner on endeavors that enhance the lives of the youth and all we support in our communities. We are unwavering in our commitment in maintaining a strong sisterhood, scholarship and service. Together, we honor our history and embrace the future as we remain ready to uplift and serve.

The Incomparable Iota Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. is located in Richmond, Virginia. The chapter had been established as part of the Northern Region, but at the Fourteenth Boule in 1939, redistricting efforts created the Northeastern Region, in which Iota Sigma takes recognition as the oldest chartered alumni chapter. During 2022 of centennial celebrations, Iota Sigma have reached 100 active members.
